My Mom is super crafty - I owe all of my craftiness to her. So naturally she's very interested in my little BookWorm business, and we did a lot of brainstorming over the weekend. I've decided to change my strategy a little. I love the BookWormz, and they'll still be my primary focus, but I'm going to start including other book-related items in my shop. I'm changing the tag line to read: BookWormz - the Reader's Boutique, and adding a few more items. First up - glasses holders. I'm calling them Pearls of Wisdom, and the picture above shows the first one. We also discussed personalized photo buttons for the BookWormz, and possibly gift baskets for your favorite reader. What are your thoughts about this strategy? Do you think I should stick with just the BookWormz, or do you think I should start expanding? Do you have any other ideas about products I could offer in my little Boutique?

I think at some point growth is good as long as you give yourself certain constraints. You could offer teas and tea cup sets, see what I mean...there is so much people equate with books.
As for idea's not at the moment, I'll keep it in mind though. Love the eyeglass pearls. (Hugs)Indigo
I think growth is good - I've started making book thongs, I think partly because I found a renewed passion for reading again. I had been in such a slump for a few months, and finally finished a book!

I think all things book related is important ~ I also do book baskets for readers. I think you need to expand your wings & add new things. I also think this will give Bookwormz more exposure. I think you shouldn't lose focus on your first baby ~ your Bookwormz : ).

Great idea to expand! I don't read as much as I would like. I think adding reader cases would be ideal too. I know my mother and MIL are always on the hunt for something cute to put their readers in :)
