What do you do with your old books?

I usually give them away, which is why my home library looks so BARE!
But I was thinking of hosting a book swap soon. I have lots of "reader friends" and we could combine a book swap with a book club! What do you think? Do you have a book club? How does it work? How many times/week to you meet? Do you ALWAYS drink too much wine, or just sometimes? hahahaha

I keep certain books, especially series. Most of the time I give them away to friends and family, or to the school. Our library is really packed here because all four of us are readers!

Lol, my book group meets once a month and we usually drink too much wine. :)
Another great way to get rid of books is by donating to Better World Books.

I find it hard to part with books, unless I'm giving them away to friends or relatives. Otherwise, my solution is to keep adding shelves. With the children grown now, that has become easier -- a hidden advatage of being am empty nester.
